Greek Development Minister mr. Nikos Dendias The government does not rule out the possibility of unilateral actions aimed at reducing energy cost, Development Minister Nikos Dendias on Thursday said after an inter-ministerial meeting on industrial policy.

"We seek an honest dialogue on energy cost reduction, but if we and our partners disagree on the measures, we can legislate as a sovereign country and whoever wishes can refer us to the European Union bodies," he said.

The inter-ministerial committee for Industrial Policy, headed by Dendias, convened earlier in the day with an agenda of policies to further reduce energy cost for industries, embolden entrepreneurship and link scientific research with the production sector of the economy.
