The Friedrich Naumann Foundation For Freedom in cooperation with Von Innen Consulting held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 a political communication seminar where participants were able to develop their skills regarding political communication in media and social media. The seminar, held at the Hotel Stratos Vassilikos, covered subjects such as the occurring changes in the communications map and the tools needed for its analysis, but also showed how the algorithms of Google and Facebook work.

Yannis Politis, Giorgos Frigkas and Dimitris Pefanis made presentations at the  Speaking to the Media workshop, three distinguished people of the field with extensive experience in the communications area. The topics discussed were inspired by their long experience in the field, what the practical advice should and should not do groups, institutions and individuals who want to reach journalists and / or media in general.

Specifically Yannis Politis, journalist and Professor of Journalism and Political Communication mentioned the importance of journalistic sources and networking in the field of politics, while Dr. George Frigkas, communicator and founder of Social Media Services spoke about the various analysis tools in political communication. Finally, Dimitris Pefanis, Director of showed the ongoing changes in the communications map with the advent of electronic media information and social networking and what one should watch and what to avoid when writing a press release.

The seminar was attended by 25 people from multiple institutions, NGOs and companies. The Speaking to the Media Seminar is the first in a series of seminars which will be addressing issues related to communication, activism, campaigns and similar matters that might be associated with civil society, politics and the free market.
